I guess my real purpose is to inform on what windows can and will do. Installed 160 GB HD partitioned ntfs and ext3 and began install XP home. It detected corrupt file and I choose the 4 disk restore of this hp notebook. Well I have XP but it nuked partitions and partition table as well I guess.
